Ant Trapper Studio | Warranty for Live Products
Chapter 1 General Provisions
original intention of Guarantee: To confirm the source of the products and to ensure that all live ants purchased by our customers have proper purchase records, so that they can enjoy the subsequent warranty service with peace of mind.
Determining the buying relationship: Customers are required to provide the order number from the official website, or the date and items purchased at the store, which will be checked against the system/physical records of the company.
These terms and conditions apply to all customers ("Customers") who purchase live ants directly from Ant Trapper Studio ("the Company").
Purchasers who buy through other channels (agents, second-hand resale, etc.) are excluded from these terms and conditions.
Chapter 2: Transportation Insurance
- original intention of GuaranteeThe aim is to allow customers to place orders without having to bear the risk of delivery.
- ServicesIf the ants are found dead during delivery, we will send the same item to the customer free of charge upon confirmation.
- Application Requirements:
- Customers are required to pick up the goods within 24 hours after the "Notification of Receipt" and video-record the whole process of unpacking.
- Failure to comply will be considered a waiver of transportation insurance.
- Description of Egg DeletionIf a product containing eggs is purchased and no eggs are found upon delivery, no compensation will be made for ingestion due to the shock of delivery. However, if no eggs are laid within 3 months from the actual date of mating, then it will be regarded as stoppage of production and will be handled according to the provisions of Chapter III.
Chapter 3 Normal Ovulation Guarantee
- original intention of GuaranteeThe purpose of this program is to ensure that our customers' ants will not stop producing for no reason and to avoid purchasing unmated ants.
- ServicesIf the termite queen does not lay eggs within 1 year after purchase after normal breeding, we will provide free replacement.
- Application Process and Limitations:
- Customers are required to contact us within 60 days of discovery of the discontinued product and provide video/photographic documentation.
- Customers are required to follow our recommendations to adjust the breeding environment (temperature, humidity, feeding method, etc.) and observe for another 60 days after the adjustment; if there is still no egg laying, then a replacement shipment can be sent.
- Number of Worker Ants: The number of worker ants shall be flat or increasing, or decreasing only by no more than 50%, from the date of purchase; if the colony continues to decline, it will not qualify for this warranty.

Chapter IV. Five-year life warranty
- original intention of GuaranteeOur aim is to protect our customers' ants from dying for no reason, so that they can keep their ants with peace of mind.
- ServicesIf an ant dies due to congenital health problems within 5 years after purchase, we will send you the same product free of charge.
- Conditions and Limitations:
- Only in the case of "death of a single ant and normal survival of worker ants".
- If the worker ants die gradually and then the queen ants die, it is considered as a colony problem and this warranty is not applicable.

Chapter 5: Free foster care for five years
- original intention of GuaranteeThe aim of the program is to provide customers with the flexibility of temporary fostering and to reduce the stress of traveling or short-term fostering.
- Services: Within 5 years after purchase, customers can enjoy two weeks of free boarding service at our store.
- limitation: Foster care fee applies for stays longer than 2 weeks.
Chapter 6 - Free Small and Large Exchange Service
- original intention of GuaranteeThe purpose of the program is to help customers switch between products when they outgrow or outgrow their herd.
- ServicesIf the number of ants in your colony exceeds 1,000 and you do not want to keep them any longer, you can apply for a free replacement with a new ant of another product.
- limitation
- The price of the exchanged item must be within ±20% of the original purchase price.
- Subject to availability at the store on the day.
Chapter VII. General provisions
- original intention of Guarantee: Ensure a smooth and consistent replacement process, and clarify the parameters of the transportation burden.
- Right of interpretationThe final interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be vested in Ant Catcher Studio.
- Replacement SpecificationAll ants replaced under warranty will be shipped in the original purchase specification if we have the same specification in stock; if not, we will ship the ants off-the-shelf.
- Freight Burden: Except for the delivery insurance, the return shipping cost of the warranty service is the responsibility of the customer.
- Warranty claim time limit:Customers should contact us within two weeks and complete the warranty claim process within one month from the time of death, sudden death, etc. and are eligible for the warranty.
Chapter 8 Revisions and Updates
The Company reserves the right to revise and update these Terms at any time by posting the latest version on the Company's website. Customers' continued use of the Company's services will be deemed to be acceptance of the updated terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of January 01, 2024 and are subject to change without notice.
Chapter IX. Warranty exclusions
The above warranty does not apply to any death of worker ants, post mortem deaths, or stoppage of production due to any of the following circumstances:
- Improper feeding:
- Feeding poisonous or rotten food, or ant feeds not manufactured by us, if the feeds are not the cause of the ants, this restriction will not apply.
- Poor environmental temperature, humidity, lighting, ventilation or cleaning maintenance; excessive interference or frequent moving of containers.
- Unsuitable nests; oversized nests; poor nesting materials (e.g. aerated bricks) or nests not made by us.
- chemical poisoning: Use insecticides, bleach, disinfectants, water fumes, mosquito coils and other products that affect the health of ants.
- Disease or parasitism: Diseases (bacteria, fungi, nematodes, etc.) that are not isolated or treated by the customer in a timely manner.
- Force majeure and external factors: natural disasters, third-party vandalism, pet injuries, etc.
